Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.

Sweepstakes Timing: Princess Polly: Sail Croatia 2026 Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00 am PST May 4, 2026 and ends at 11:59:00 pm PST on May 24, 2026 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). The time shall be determined by Sponsor's or the applicable platforms' timekeeping systems. Sponsor shall have the sole discretion in determining the timeliness related to these Sweepstakes.

Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding New York, Florida, Puerto Rico), Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia (excluding ACT, SA and NT), New Zealand, the UK and EU member countries (excluding Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Poland, and Croatia), who are 18 or older as of the date of entry and you have a passport that is valid until February 28, 2027. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Princess Polly ("Sponsor") and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, prize suppliers, including any vendors providing services in connection with this Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), including members of their immediate family or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, you may enter for free as follows:

  1. Log into your personal Instagram and TikTok accounts.
  2. From both of your accounts, follow @princesspolly and @sailcroatia.
  3. On the Princess Polly Instagram and TikTok pages, like, and save the Sweepstakes post on both of your accounts.
  4. In the comments on the Sweepstakes post on both Instagram and TikTok, tag who you will take with you if you win + include #sweeps in your comment.

Upon completing all of the step(s) listed above you will receive one (1) entry ("Entry") into the Sweepstakes. You can enter as many times as you want by ALSO (in addition to all of the above steps) sharing to your story and/or making a TikTok video about the Sweepstakes and why you should win – just make sure you mention the Sweepstakes Princess Polly: Sail Croatia and include #sweeps in all comments, stories or TikTok videos. The more #sweeps you leave, the more entries you receive, there is no limit. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected entries or entries not received regardless of cause. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been directly submitted by the authorized account holder of the applicable social networking account used to enter the Sweepstakes and leave the FIRST comment. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to the account by the relevant entity responsible for assigning those accounts. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor's satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. In addition, eligible residents may enter for free by sending an email to rochelle@princesspolly.com with the subject line "Princess Polly: Sail Croatia Sweepstakes Free Entry" and including their full name, postal address, and email address. Emails must be sent and received by the end date of the Sweepstakes Period. Such emails to enter have the same chance of winning as any other entry.

Winner(s) Selection/Odds of Winning: There will be 1 winner selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor or its designee, on or about 10 days after the end of the Sweepstakes Period based on all eligible entries received under the supervision of an independent person or in such a way as to ensure fair treatment of all entrants. Odds of winning a prize is dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. You may only win one prize regardless of the number of entries.

Winner Notification: Potential winner will be notified by direct message on the Instagram or TikTok Social Network platform, at the time of selection and will be notified by direct message from the Sponsor's official Instagram account. Potential winner(s) must respond to the notification message and provide all requested information within forty-eight (48) hours of the first contact or attempted contact from Sponsor or the potential prize may be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate winner. To claim any prize, Sponsor may require potential winner(s) and their guest to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms and other applicable documents, which may require a social security number and may need to be notarized, before claiming the prize. In addition, a potential winner from Canada, if any, will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without aid or assistance before being declared a "Winner". All required documents must be completed and returned to Sponsor within five (5) days of the date and time listed on the documents. Potential winners may be required to produce a form of proper identification to claim the prize and must have a valid passport until February 28, 2027. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to timely claim the prize, is ineligible for any reason, is disqualified, fails to timely execute and return any required forms, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable or is determined ineligible for any reason, Sponsor will select an alternate winner via random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries. If by reason of printing or other error, more prizes are claimed than set forth above, a random drawing will be held to award the advertised number of prizes. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

Prize(s) and Approximate Retail Values ("ARVs"): One (1) prize will be awarded to one (1) "Winner" as determined in accordance with these Official Rules, that consists of two round trip plane tickets for Winner and their guest who must be over 18 as of Aug 1, 2026 and have a passport that is valid until February 28, 2027 ("Guest") to Split Croatia to attend a 7-day party Navigator Cruise on the Premier Plus ship of Sail Croatia on August 8 – Aug 15, 2026 departing and returning from Split, Croatia (the "Event"), a summer wardrobe for Winner to wear at the Event of Princess Polly products available on www.princesspolly.com, .com.au or .com.uk (depending on Winner's location) provided in two EU€400 Gift Cards (or equivalent in Winner's local currency) for use online only, certain exclusions apply and products subject to availability. The ARV of the total prize package is: €7,498.00 in total. See details for the Cruise portion of the Event here: https://www.sail-croatia.com/croatia-cruises/navigator-cruises. Winner and Guest will be staying in one (1) double occupancy en-suite cabin on the premier plus cruise ship, which has AC and Wi-Fi. The Event Cruise includes a daily buffet breakfast and a 3 course lunch for the full days on the Cruise. All dinners, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) as well as optional excursions and certain exclusive events, any add-ons or upgrades will be the Winner's choice and responsibility and are not included as part of the Prize. All flights regardless of departure city will arrive at Split Airport (SPU) on or around August 8th, 2026. Winner and Guest will make their own way to the Cruise dock by 10.30am local time (for departure at 1 pm local time). The Cruise will end in Split and the Winner and Guest will arrange their own way back to their hotel/hostel and also to the airport for departure back to their home location. The Cruise will end in Split on August 15th, 2026 at 8.30am. Winners shall not be required to make any payment to take possession of the prize, however, all other prize related expenses including without limitation transportation to and from the cruise departure location, the airport, Winner's hotel/hostel and any other transportation are the full responsibility of the Winner or Guest and are not included as part of the Prize. All prizes are "AS IS" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied (unless otherwise prohibited by law). No substitution, redemption for cash, return, exchange or transfer of prizes will be made or is permitted except in Sponsor's sole discretion. The dates of air travel and the dates of the Event cannot be changed or modified by the Winner or Guest. All federal, state and local taxes, related to the prizes, are the sole responsibility of the Winner. There is NO other food, dinner, beverage, hotel or other transportation included in the prize except as specifically listed herein. There is no transportation other than the airfare to Split, Croatia (e.g., no train, bus, car/uber, or parking fees, etc.) to or from the Event or around the Event dates. If the Winner is not able to attend on the Event dates listed for any reason (including illness, medical emergency, death, theft, weather, work obligations, and the like), they will forfeit the prize in full and another winner will be selected in accordance with these Rules. We ask that the potential winner confirm their availability when notified about the potential prize.

Air Travel: The Winner will receive two (2) round trip coach plane tickets to Split Airport (SPU) in Croatia from the airport nearest to Winner's place of residence and up to a maximum of €900.00 per ticket, including all taxes and fees and will be booked by Sponsor and its agencies. The Winner must travel and attend the Event on dates of August 8 and August 15, 2026 ("Event Date") and must be available and able to travel to the Event before and after the Event Date and times listed for the cruise ("Travel Period"). Approximate retail value ("ARV") of both tickets up to €1,800.00. Sponsor will work with Winner to find travel times, arrival and departure cities, pricing, and dates that accommodate the Winner and these conditions.

Cruise Ship: Winner will receive seven (7) nights' accommodations in a double occupancy room for the Winner and Guest on the cruise with ARV €3,198.00. Any upgrades or changes to room, damage to room or the cruise ship, or charges to the room (including but not limited to any food, room service, excursions, events, or activities), whether they are related to the actions of Winner or their Guest, are Winner's sole responsibility and cost. The Winner and Guest are bound by the Booking Terms of the Navigator Cruise. The cruise prize includes 7 nights accommodation in a twin-share cabin, daily breakfast, daily lunch, Wi-Fi & Tour Manager. The cruise prize does not include travel insurance. It is essential and the responsibility of the prize Winner and Guest to have valid passports, as well as all necessary applicable visas and required health certification and travel insurance.

Princess Polly EU Wardrobe: Gift cards for purchase of Princess Polly products available on www.princesspolly.com, .com.au or .com.uk (depending on Winner's location) provided in two e-Gift Cards of €400.00 each (total €800.00) (or equivalent in Winner's local currency) for use online only, certain exclusions apply and products subject to availability. No substitution, redemption for cash, return, exchange or transfer of gift cards is allowed. Gift cards must be used and will expire within 1 year of award.

Spending Money: Winner will receive €1,700.00 in spending money for the Event, to be shared equally between the Winner and their Guest. The cash prize will be awarded in the form of ACH transfer, a prepaid Visa gift card or other acceptable bank transfer payable to the verified Winner only. Prize will not be paid in cryptocurrency, wire transfer to foreign accounts outside eligible countries in these Official Rules, or any alternative payment method. This amount will be transferred by Sponsor to Winner on or around August 1, 2026 to the designated bank account they provide. If Winner does not have a valid bank account, Sponsor will work with Winner for an alternate means of transfer for this portion of the prize. Winner is solely responsible for all decisions regarding the use of prize funds. Sponsor makes no recommendation, suggestion, or endorsement regarding how the prize should be used, spent, saved, or invested, including any investments or financial advice. Winner is solely responsible for ensuring that any use of the prize funds complies with these Official Rules and all applicable laws and regulations.

Total ARV of the Prize to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is up to €7,498.00 (estimated as of May 1, 2026). All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time and no later than the end of the Travel Period, and no changes will be permitted after booking confirmation or any other redemption.

The Guest: The Guest of the Winner must be at least 18 or older, have a passport that is valid through February 28, 2027, and will be required to execute an Affidavit and Release of Liability form. If Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of their Prize with no Guest, the Prize will be awarded to Winner and any remainder of the Prize for Guest will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation or cash value.

Behavior Code: Winner and Guest must conduct themselves appropriately and in accordance with all laws and terms and conditions of the Event services during all travel, cruise and related prize activities and redemption and the terms of these Official Rules.

Travel Documents: Winner and their Guest will be responsible for all travel documents and identification acceptable to airlines, security and governmental agencies as well as any testing or vaccines required by the airline, cruise ship, or the country of Croatia.

No Warranties on Prize: All elements of the Prize are "AS IS" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. No substitution, exchange or transfer of the Prize, or cash redemption will be made or is permitted except in Sponsor's sole discretion.

Sail Croatia Terms: The Cruise portion of the Event is subject to Sail Croatia's terms and conditions, in particular regarding changes, cancellations, insurance and their liability. Please read these at: https://www.sail-croatia.com/booking-terms/cruises and contact them directly with any questions on the Cruise portion of the Event. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Travel Conditions on the Prize:

  • Air travel and cabins on the cruise are dependent on availability. All air travel must be booked by July 31, 2026, must be for dates within the Travel Period, and must be completed by the last date of the Travel Period or the Prize will be forfeited. Travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply including school holidays and public holiday periods. If travel restrictions due to health emergencies, pandemic, government orders, acts of war, or any other unforeseen circumstances significantly restrict travel to Croatia during the Travel Period or require quarantine, Sponsor may elect in its sole discretion to extend the dates of the Travel Period until such restrictions have been lifted.
  • Winner and their Guest must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Travel arrangements to and from the Winner's home and the airport of departure do not form part of the Prize and are the sole responsibility of the Winner, including any shuttles or taxis to or from the airport or cruise ship or parking.
  • Flights are subject to the fare rules and General Conditions of Carriage of the relevant carrier. Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos and availability at the time of booking. Sponsor is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Winner is responsible for the payment of any applicable airline excess baggage fees, add-ons, or other fees, taxes and surcharges. The Winner and their Guest will not be entitled to accrue frequent flyer points on the travel or accommodation. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • The ARV for travel prizes may vary depending upon points of departure and destination and fare fluctuations. Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel routes and select hotels in its sole discretion. The ARV for travel prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The Winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules. In the event that the Winner is unable to travel during the stipulated Travel Period or attend the Event on the Event Dates then they forfeit the entire Prize with no further compensation or further liability of Sponsor.
  • Any additions, upgrades, or extension to the duration of the Prize is at the Winner's sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. Once flights and accommodation are booked, dates may not be amended, changed or cancelled.
  • In the event the Winner's residence is close enough to the destination or Split, Croatia such that air transportation is deemed by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be unnecessary, the Prize will not include air transportation and no other substitution or compensation will be provided in lieu thereof.
  • Unless otherwise specified above all other expenses are the responsibility of the Winner (and their Guest) including but not limited to additional meals, spending money, transport to and from departure and arrival points, drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance, passports, activities or excursions and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Winner at time of Event check-in to cover incidental charges and damages.

The Prize does not include any travel or other insurance for the Event for Winner or Guest. Event insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. See Sail Croatia Terms for details, costs and options on obtaining insurance for the Cruise portion. Insurance for airfare can be purchased as an add-on directly from the airline or other travel insurance provider.

Publicity & Marketing: Winner and Guest will be asked for permission for Sponsor and Sail Croatia to use their name, likeness, image, picture (whether still or moving), screen persona, statements, biographical data, and any other indicia of identity for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law in connection with the promotion of the Sweepstakes and Sponsor. Except for residents in the UK or EU/EEA, submission of personal information in connection with entry to this Sweepstakes (whether or not required) constitutes permission for Sponsor to use such personal information for purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes and for the purposes permitted by Sponsor's Privacy Policy, including marketing messages. You may opt-out of receiving such communications as set forth in Sponsor's Privacy Policy or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., "Unsubscribe" link). You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor in your entry. For entrants who are a UK or EU/EEA resident, see below provision regarding Privacy and Data Protection under the UK and GDPR regulations. General Terms: The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and void where prohibited. Decisions of Sponsor on all matters are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Sweepstakes and to disqualify any entrant for any reason, in its sole discretion, including (but not limited to) if, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. If such cancellation occurs, Sponsor reserves the right to select the winners from among the eligible entries received. Sweepstakes Entities do not warrant that access to the Sweepstakes will be uninterrupted. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for, including but not limited to, technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY FRAUDULENT CLAIMS, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Releases: By entering this Sweepstakes, insofar as is permitted by law in the relevant jurisdiction, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Entities (including but not limited to the Prize provider Sail Croatia), and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of, or relating to your own acts or omissions related to the Sweepstakes, your participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activities (including, without limitation, events, travel, etc.) and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder (including, without limitation, any non-compliance by you with these Official Rules); any malfunction, error or other problem arising in connection with the collection, processing, or retention of entry information; or any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any winner). The foregoing includes, without limitation, any claim for personal injury, property loss or damage, or death arising in connection with the Sweepstakes or prize. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL LIMIT OR EXCLUDE THE SPONSOR'S LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY IN THE UK CAUSED BY ITS NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

No Ongoing Obligation/Assumption of Risk: Sponsor's obligation to Winner is limited solely to the delivery of the stated Prize. Sponsor has no obligation, responsibility, or liability for any consequences, outcomes, or losses arising from Winner's subsequent use, investment, expenditure, or disposition of the prize funds, including but not limited to any business ventures, purchases, investments, or gifts made with the prize funds or for any travel or participation related to the Event. Winner acknowledges and assumes all risk associated with the receipt and use of the prize, including any financial, legal, or personal consequences resulting from the use of prize funds.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, before a court of competent jurisdiction, being, in so far as the law allows, by the applicable courts in Los Angeles County, California. All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules and entrant's or Sponsor's rights and obligations, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to choice or conflict of law rules. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Official Rules affects the statutory rights of eligible consumers available in their country of residence. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms and if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

Third Party Platforms: The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or TikTok (collectively, the "Social Network"). By participating, you confirm you are 13+ years of age, release the Social Network and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, agents, advertising agencies, from and against any and all injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the prize, and agree to the Social Network's terms of use. Privacy and Data Protection for UK and EU/EEA

This clause applies to residents of the UK or EU/EEA.

1. Data Controller. The data controller for personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes is Sponsor.

2. Personal Information Collected. To enter and administer these Sweepstakes, Sponsor collects the following categories of personal information from entrants: name, email address, country of residence, and age confirmation ("Entrant Data"). If an entrant is selected as a winner, Sponsor may also collect a postal delivery address, telephone number, and any additional information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, deliver the prize, and comply with applicable tax or legal reporting obligations.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing. Sponsor processes Entrant Data on the following lawful bases under Article 6(1) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR):

  • (a) Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)): Processing is necessary to administer the Sweepstakes, assess eligibility, select winners, and deliver prizes in accordance with these Official Rules, which constitute a binding agreement between the entrant and Sponsor upon entry.
  • (b) Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): Processing is necessary for Sponsor's legitimate interest in preventing fraud, verifying eligibility, and maintaining the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor has balanced these interests against entrants' rights and freedoms and has concluded that the processing does not override those rights.
  • (c) Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): Processing is necessary to comply with applicable tax, accounting, regulatory, or legal reporting obligations.
  • (d) Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Where Sponsor seeks to use Entrant Data for marketing communications, product updates, or any purpose beyond the administration of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor will obtain the entrant's prior, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent via a clear opt-in mechanism at the point of entry. Consent for marketing is entirely optional and is not a condition of entry. Entrants may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or contacting Sponsor at the address above, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal and without affecting the entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes.

4. Purposes of Processing. Entrant Data will be used solely for the following purposes:

  • (a) Administering the Sweepstakes, including receiving and recording entries, selecting winners, verifying eligibility, and delivering prizes;
  • (b) Communicating with entrants about the Sweepstakes (entry confirmation, winner notification, prize fulfilment);
  • (c) Complying with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations;
  • (d) Preventing fraud, enforcing these Official Rules, and protecting Sponsor's legal rights; and
  • (e) If the entrant has provided separate opt-in consent, sending marketing communications about Sponsor's products and services.

5. Data Sharing. Sponsor will not sell, rent, or trade Entrant Data to any third party. Sponsor may share Entrant Data with the following categories of recipients, solely to the extent necessary for the purposes described in Section 4:

  • (a) Third-party sweepstakes administrators, prize fulfilment providers, and delivery carriers engaged by Sponsor to administer the Sweepstakes and deliver prizes;
  • (b) Professional advisors (legal, accounting, tax) as required to comply with applicable obligations;
  • (c) Regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, or courts, where required by applicable law or legal process; and
  • (d) Sponsor's affiliated companies, solely to the extent necessary for Sweepstakes administration or prize fulfilment.

All third-party service providers processing Entrant Data on Sponsor's behalf are bound by written data processing agreements requiring them to process data solely on Sponsor's instructions and to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures in accordance with Article 28 of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

6. International Transfers. Entrant Data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including the United States and Australia. Where such transfers occur, Sponsor ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including:

  • (a) Transfers to countries recognised by the UK Secretary of State or the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection; or
  • (b) Transfers subject to the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (UK IDTA) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as applicable; or
  • (c) Other lawful transfer mechanisms as permitted under applicable data protection law.

Further details about the safeguards in place for international transfers are available upon request by contacting Sponsor at the address set out in Section 10.

7. Data Retention. Sponsor will retain Entrant Data for the following periods:

  • (a) Non-winning entrants: Entrant Data will be deleted or anonymised within 90 days after the winner has been confirmed and all prize claim periods have expired, unless a longer retention period is required by law or to resolve disputes.
  • (b) Winners: Winner data (including prize delivery information) will be retained for six (6) years following prize delivery, or such longer period as required to comply with tax, legal, or regulatory obligations.
  • (c) Marketing opt-in data: If an entrant has consented to marketing communications, Entrant Data will be retained for marketing purposes until the entrant withdraws consent, after which it will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Entrant Rights. Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, entrants have the following rights in relation to their personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions:

  • (a) Right of access: To obtain confirmation of whether Sponsor processes your personal data and, if so, to receive a copy of that data.
  • (b) Right to rectification: To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • (c) Right to erasure: To request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw consent (and no other lawful basis applies), or where you object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds.
  • (d) Right to restriction of processing: To request that Sponsor restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances (e.g., while Sponsor verifies the accuracy of your data following a challenge).
  • (e) Right to data portability: To receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format where processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means.
  • (f) Right to object: To object to processing based on legitimate interests. Sponsor will cease processing unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds that override your rights.
  • (g) Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • (h) Right not to be subject to automated decision-making: Entrants will not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.

To exercise any of these rights, entrants may contact Sponsor at the address set out in Section 10. Sponsor will respond to verified requests within one month, or within such extended period as permitted by applicable law.

9. Supervisory Authority. Entrants located in the United Kingdom have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. Entrants located in the EEA have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
